The cheers echoed in the Lijuzhou Industrial Park badminton hall.
The second "R&D Cup" badminton exchange competition of Lijuzhou Group took place on September 25, 2021. Eight teams competed fiercely: Team One and Team Two of the Microball Clinical League, Team One and Team Two of the Research Institute, Team One and Team Two of the Monoclonal Antibody Company, and Team One and Team Two of the Pharmaceutical Factory. After a day of intense battles, Team One of the Monoclonal Antibody Company won the championship, Team One of the Pharmaceutical Factory took the runner-up, Team One of the Microball Clinical League secured third place, and Team One of the Research Institute made it to the top four.
In the championship match, Team One of the Monoclonal Antibody Company faced a setback in the women's doubles, tilting the balance of victory towards Team One of the Pharmaceutical Factory. In the men's doubles match, the Monoclonal Antibody Company lost the first game 0:1. After switching sides, they quickly adjusted their strategy, continuously counterattacking and capitalizing on their opponent's mistakes to create a series of small comebacks, winning one game back. In the third game, Team One of the Monoclonal Antibody Company maintained their form, withstanding the initial firepower of Team One of the Pharmaceutical Factory and achieving a comeback. In the mixed doubles match that determined the championship, Team One of the Monoclonal Antibody Company clearly had the advantage, ultimately securing the championship with a score of 2:0.
"From serving to hitting, play each ball seriously. From the front court to the back court, play each match seriously. Stay calm when temporarily leading, catch up when temporarily behind, leverage your strengths, find your opponent's weaknesses, be humble in victory and resilient in defeat, achieve good results, and embody the spirit of the Research Institute!" This was the pre-match mobilization given by Xu Jian, the director of the Group Research Institute, to the team members the night before the competition.
